Mortal Kombat X may be getting the so-called Kombat Pack 2 DLC sometime in the future. For now, MK X's director Ed Boon has been busy tweeting yet another series of tweets. This time, he has hinted at the possibility of adding yet another horror icon to the MK X DLC lineup.

Boon Teases Michael Meyers

On Thursday, Ed Boon cheekily tweeted, "It would be a dream to see this guy in MKX or the future." He then added a fan drawing of Michael Meyers from the Halloween horror franchise. Boon also admitted that he was scared of the psychopathic murderer.

This is not the first Mortal Kombat X added horror icons to its lineup. Previous film characters included the Predator and Jason Voorhees.

Kombat Pack 2 Continues to Intrique Fans

In past days, Boon has been pretty tight-lipped regarding the Kombat Pack 2 release date. Yesterday, a fan jokingly posted an image of a fully decomposed dead player slumped over the computer keyboard while awaiting a reply regarding Kombat Pack 2.

"Oh...is he gonna be okay?" Ed Boon replied. Previously, a fan tweeted a manipulated image showing a billboard with the question, "When is KP2 Coming?"

"Um...what are you trying to tell me?" Boon nonchalantly answered.

What Will Be Added to Kombat Pack 2?

During a live Twitch broadcast last month, Mortal Kombat X developer NetherRealm Studios said that Tremor was the last addition to Kombat Pack 1. This reference surprised viewers, whom were previously told that there was only one Kombat Pack.

It is not entirely impossible for there to be additional content for Mortal Kombat X. There is a possibility that some unplayable fighters may become playable at some future date. Rumors have included Baraka, Sindel, Smoke, Cyborg Cyrax, Cyborg Sektor, Cyborg Smoke and Noob Saibot.

There is very little to doubt whether additional MKX downloadable content is coming. The only question is when. For now, there is virtually no information that can offer any meaningful guesses at the Kombat Pack 2 release date.

Ed Boon Shares Fan Theory on Twitter

Two weeks ago, Ed Boon teased Mortal Kombat X fans with yet another twitter posting. This time, he shared a YouTube posting from MKX streamer Maximilian Dood.

Boon called the recent video "an interesting perspective on future Mortal Kombat DLC from our friend." However, he stopped short of offering a clear endorsement for Max's theories. The reasons for Boon's latest activity remain a mystery.
