Netflix, Hulu September 2015 Releases: New Movies And Popular TV Shows

Netflix

September will be the month Netflix will release a number of new original series and seasons from popular TV shows. Meanwhile, Hulu viewers will find new content added as well. For this article, we will concentrate on what is available for streaming.

Top Netflix Shows for September 2015

Topping the list is Netflix's upcoming '80s crime thriller inspired from true events in the War on Drugs. Season One of Narcos traces the beginnings of this undeclared war, featuring characters including drug baron Pablo Escobar and DEA agent Steve Murphy. The entire Season One of Narcos debuts on August 28.

While Hemlock Gove suffered a lackluster first season, patient viewers were rewarded with a much improved Seasons 2. Netflix plans to launch Season 3 in September. The exact release date remains in TBD status.

True to its nature, Netflix has revived yet another show that was axed. This time that show is Longmire, which chronicles the journey of a rural lawman seeking justice for his wife's murder. The show originally ran on A&E, but was cancelled. Following fan outcry, Netflix stepped up to the plate with plans to air Longmire Season 4 on September 10.

However, not everything is dark on Netflix. September 1st will see the premiere of Irish children's animation series Puffin Rock. The show will be available to viewers in the U.S. and Canada. Season 1 follows the adventure of two young puffins, Oona and Baba.
