The next-gen 'Grand Theft Auto V' (GTA 5) launch date may have been leaked accidentally by a European online store.

PC Gamer reported last Sunday that Coolshop has listed November 14 as the expected release date for the revamped GTA 5. The following day, the Danish retailer changed the date to December 31. This has not stopped fans from speculating that the updated GTA 5 version will be ready by November.

Released last year, the original GTA 5 is only available on the current-gen PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Fans long hoped for an updated version of the game for next-gen consoles.

In June, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games confirmed plans to revamp GTA 5 with better graphics for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PC. Even so, the two companies only gave a vague release date for fall this year.
