The Strain Spoilers and Live Stream (FX): Kelly Goes Missing, Heroes Home in on Master’s Lair

FX's surprise-hit The Strain will see the heroes taking their fight directly to the Master in the next three episodes. This information was confirmed in a series of press releases posted on SpoilerTV, giving clues on what to expect in future episodes.

Kelly Goes Missing

Beginning in Episode 9, The Disappeared, Dr. Ephraim "Eph" Goodweather (Corey Stoll) finds that his ex-wife Kelly (Natalie Brown) has vanished. The lead character continues searching for his former spouse in the following episode as well.

Palmer Loses His Human Allies

Hacker Dutch Velders (Ruta Gedmintas) will reveal her role in Palmer's disinformation scheme. She had been hired by Palmer (Jonathan Hyde) to cripple the New York City's internet to prevent news of the epidemic from spreading. Dutch seeks revenge against Palmer in the tenth episode.

According to SpoilerTV, Palmer's faithful lackey Mr. Fitzwilliams (Roger Cross) will do something surprising in Episode 10. Whether Fitzwilliams' action involves betraying Palmer remains a mystery at this moment.

Setrakian Homes in One the Master's Hideout

Meanwhile in Episode 11, Jewish vampire-hunter Setrakian (David Bradley) leads the search for the Master's Lair with his new team - comprised of Eph, Vasily, and Nora. Eph's son Zack hides out with Nora's elderly mother Mariela at Setrakian's pawnshop.

'Creatures of the Night' Recap

In Episode 8, Creatures of the Night, Eph and his companions barely escape with their lives after being trapped in a gas station by vampires. Sadly, Jim (Sean Astin) is infected during the ordeal. Knowing that he will turn on his friends, Jim pleads to be killed. To Eph's great distress, Vasily shoots Jim in the head with a silver bullet.
