Tony Romo
Romo has the Cowboys on a winning streak, and he would like to keep it that way.

The New Orleans Saints plan to win one on the road, as they take on the Cowboys, but Dallas has found a strong running game and has some of their swagger back.  The Cowboys are 2-1, and the Saints are 1-2, so New Orleans is eager to get back to an even record before putting more in the win column. The game is set to kick off from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas at 8:25, and will be broadcast on NBC.  Live Streams of the game can be watched online via the links below (free with subscription).

For the Saints, the offense has to be chomping at the bit to get at Dallas and their 20th ranked defense.  Drew Brees have faced tougher units already this year, so they should be able to put points on the board. The Saints will lean on a lot of different playmakers, but maybe none so important as big tight end Jimmy Graham, who has 24 catches for 254 yards already this year.

On Offense for the Cowboys, look for running back Demarco Murray to do the bulk of the work this week.  He is having a great year, having carried the ball 75 times for 385 yards.  He will want to have a great game against the Saints defense that is ranked 22nd overall. Tony Romo's back is feeling better, and his play lately proves it, so he could be a big difference maker in this game, too.  If Romo controls the interceptions, the Cowboys could win this game.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has thrown five touchdown passes this year.

The Saints have allowed 72 points over three games and the Cowboys have allowed 69.

Offensively, both teams also rank close to each other. The Saints rank seventh with 78 points scored, the Cowboys rank eighth with 77 points scored.

On Defense, the Saint's Coordinator, Rex Ryan, says his team has something to prove this week.   His last job was with the Cowboys, so he obviously would like to see them do well against his old team.  The Cowboys fired Ryan in 2012.

So, at the heart of the matter,  this game will feature two strong offenses, against two defenses that could be better, to say the least.  That, my friends, has all the earmarks of a high scoring shootout.

No doubt offensive efficiency and turnovers will play a part in this game, and will be key factors when the dust clears.
