PlayStation Plus Free Games November 2014: Download Games for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita (Start Date)

SteamWorld Dig
SteamWorld Dig is one of November's free games for the PS Network

Sony revealed the PlayStation Plus free games list for the month of November, and in it, we see confirmation of rumored games and the addition of several more unexpected favorites.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (PS4)

It turns out the rumors were true as this remade version of the original Binding of Isaac will be free for PlayStation Plus members on the day of its release, November 4th. Rebirth was created as a way for game designer Edmund McMillen to clean up the code, remove Flash, and use a new engine to limit the game's bugs. The Binding of Isaac is a top-down 2D game loosely inspired by the Biblical story of Abraham and Isaac.

SteamWorld Dig (PS4, Cross-Buy with PS Vita)

This platformer adventure game features puzzle-solving, trap-evasion, and a western mining theme throughout. Your character mines for resources deep in the mines of Tumbleton, unearthing precious raw materials and deadly enemies along the way. It was first released for the PlayStation network in March of this year.

Frozen Synapse Prime (PS3)

The turn-based action of Frozen Synapse allows for strategic elimination of your enemies through a dystopian cyberpunk world. Frozen Synapse Prime is the PlayStation-exclusive version that brings a fresh visual style, a single-player storyline mode, and an online mode that allows for multiple concurrent sessions. It first released for the PS Network on September 23, 2014.

Luftrausers (PS3, Cross-Buy with PS Vita)

Luftrausers is a multidirectional shooter where you control an airplane on a mission to shoot everything in its path. Your airplane is customizable with different weapons, engines, and hulls, and your front gun is fixed, so strategy is important. The retro-style game was so well-received by fans that it started making a profit three days after release on March 18, 2014.

The Hungry Horde (PS Vita)

This top-down action game gives a twist on the traditional zombie survival genre. In The Hungry Horde, you control the zombies in an attempt to grow your horde by feeding them more brains and turning humans to your side with that fateful bite. But it's a race against the clock to grow your army as large as possible before that pesky human military comes in and wipes you all out.

The November 4th free offering on the PS Network will mark the game's debut.

Escape Plan (PS Vita, Cross-Buy with PS4)

The oldest game in the bunch is Escape Plan, a puzzle game first released in Fenruary of 2012. In it, you control two characters who must squeeze their way through rooms full of booby traps to find their freedom. The game uses the PS Vita's front and rear multitouch panels and motion controls for movement, resulting in a uniquely challenging experience.

All of these games will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, November 4. Take note that October's free games will be removed at that time.
