Apple's iPhone 6 and Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 are arguably the most popular smartphones for this holiday season, and luckily for those who have been holding out to buy either one, many retail stores are offering deep discounts for both devices this holiday season.

The iPhone 6 is Apple's latest entry to the smartphone market with a 4.7-inch display, 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 16, 64, or 128 GB of storage, and 1 GB RAM. The Note 4, on the other hand, features a much larger 5.7-inch display, a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 32 or 64 GB of storage, and 3 GB of RAM.

Comparitively, the larger iPhone 6 Plus comes closer to the Note 4's specs, but retailers are pushing discounts on the smaller 16 GB version of the iPhone 6, instead.

We've scoured the internet for the very best deals from the nation's largest retailers on both the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. We also expect this list to grow in the coming days into next week as online retail giants like Amazon list their own sales ads.

Walmart is offering the 16GB iPhone 6 for zero down and $179 when purchased with a two-year contract through either AT&T or Verizon. The retailer is also offering a $75 gift card when you buy either the 6 or the 6 Plus, and up to $200 back in the form of a gift card when you trade in another smartphone toward your purchase. This sale is part of the retailer's Event 3 that starts at 6 a.m. on Friday, November 28.

Best Buy is offering the 16 GB iPhone 6 for only $99 with a two-year activaton with either Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint, plus a minimum $100 Best Buy gift card with any trade-in of a working iPhone.

Target will have the 16 GB iPhone 6 for $179 when you sign up for a two-year contract with either Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T, and will even throw in a $30 Target gift card. Take note that this deal starts at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

The Apple Store is said to open its doors at 8 a.m. on Black Friday, but its Black Friday list is not yet posted. The Apple Store has traditionally featured impressive discounts on its most popular devices, so definitely watch for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus' sale price in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Walmart is offering a similar deal with Android phones as it is with the iPhone, with a $100 gift card given with the purchase of select Android phones, and up to $200 back with your smartphone trade-in.

At Best Buy, you can get a Galaxy Note 4 for $0 down when you sign up for a two-year contract with Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint, plus they'll even throw in a $50 Best Buy gift card.

T-Mobile is offering a special deal on the Note 4 that's become a popular option with many consumers. You can get the smartphone with no money down through the carrier's online store when you sign up for a two-year contract, but you must make payments of $31.24 per month toward the phone's price over the course of 24 months.

With all of these deals, and most Black Friday deals in general, the sale prices are only available while supplies last with no rain checks.
