Feb 26, 2015 05:03 PM EST

With Mobile World Congress 2015 happening in Barcelona on March 2-5, many of the big mobile companies will be there to show off their new mobile devices.  Some of the big players predicted will be Samsung with the Galaxy S6, HTC with the One M9, Sony with the Xperia Z4 series, and much more.  Here is a list of what is expected at Mobile World Congress 2015 as far as the dates and schedule are concerned.

Samsung Galaxy S6

Considering that the Galaxy S5 was announced at Mobile World Congress, you could say that Samsung is due for another Galaxy S phone.  We have reported on the Galaxy S6 before, and the S6 is said to feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display running at 1440 x 2560 resolution, a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage (expandable to 128 GB), and a whopping 20-megapixel rear camera. Android 5.0 Lollipop is said to come loaded standard with Samsung's TouchWiz UI modification. Available colors are said to include Charcoal Black, Copper Gold, Electric Blue, and Shimmery White.  The colors slightly differ from what we heard from GSMArena, as they report that the colors would be dark blue, blue-green, gold, and white

HTC One M9 "Hima"

This was another phone that was due to arrive at CES, but recent signs from the company show a "Utopia in Progress" according to The Geek Church.  This probably means that HTC will finally unveil that HTC One M9 or "Hima".

As far as the specs go, we already reported that the Hima should have a very clear 1440 x 2560 QHD screen, 3 GB of RAM, plus an Adreno 430 GPU with crunch graphics. As for the camera, expect a 20.7 Megapixel rear-facing one, and then a 13 Megapixel front-facing one.  The battery intends to be a 2840 mAh job that will more than likely squeeze as much power as it can into the M9 for longer life in between charges.  What we didn't say is that it will probably very slim at 7mm.  The display, according to the Latino Post, could range from 5 inches to even 5.5 inches

Sony Xperia Z4

The follow-up to the Z3 could happen here with the Z4, and it could come with a tablet.  It seems that details about the Z4 change as the probable release date gets closer.  According to International Business Times, the Z4 plans to have a screen that is either 5.4 or 5.5 inches.  In fact, it might have two types of displays: one with Quad HD and the other with Full HD.

As far as memory is concerned, it should have about 16/32 GB internal memory with 3 GB RAM with a microSD up to 128 GB.  The battery for the Z3 is a non-removable Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery, but the Z4 is expected to be at 3420 mAh.  As far as the camera is concerned, it should have a 20.7 Megapixel rear camera and 4.8 Megapixel front.  Then there are the rumored features of Qi Wireless Charging, IP68 water and dust proof, and LTE Cat 9 connectivity.

Then there is the James Bond connection. It is rumored that there will be some serious product placement of the Sony Xperia Z4 in the next James Bond movie, Spectre.  There are even rumors going about saying that James Bond actor Daniel Craig and film director Sam Mendes could have some input in the design of the Xperia Z4.

LG G4

From what we know about LG, they will probably not debut the G4 at MWC 2015.

Huawei

As far as other rumors are going on, there are reports from PC Advisor that Huawei could be releasing a new smartwatch, and it could have Android Wear, the operating system created by Google for wearable tech.

We are going to do our best at The Gospel Herald to keep you posted on the latest technology at MWC 2015, and the lastest in rumors, schedules, and what else to expect in Barcelona.
