GTA 5 Online: 'Ill Gotten Gains' DLC Part 2 Update; GTA 6 Release Date, Rumors

Rockstar has just freshly released Part 1 of the GTA 5: Ill Gotten Gain DLC patch but fans already can't wait for the unveiling of the GTA 5: Ill Gotten Gain DLC Part 2.

Rockstar, the developer of the hugely successful action adventure Grand Theft Auto (GTA), said the patches are part of its ongoing commitment to combat cheating and griefing, and allow them to more efficiently detect and target any players found running mods and cheat programs within GTA Online.

In a report, iDigital Times said Rockstar has taken preemptive measures to prevent players from activating cheat mores that would allow them to quickly purchase high-end and luxurious items, including $5.1 million helicopter and $10 million jet. In the latest GTA 5 Ill-Gotten Gains DLC (Part 1), players were introduced to new toys only high-networth individuals could afford, such as ultra-expensive vehicles, the gold Buckingham Swift personal helicopter and Buckingham Luxor private jet.

The Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part One was released last June 10 for Grand Theft Auto Online across all five platforms. Also last June 12, the Ill-Gotten Gains Social Club Event Weekend (Part One) presented several opportunities for bonus RP, GTA$ and more - perfect for the consummate capitalist.

In addition to four new high-end automobiles (the Pegassi Osiris, Albany Virgo, Benefactor Stirling GT and Enus Windsor), players can also rule the skies in a pair of new extravagant, Deluxe aircraft. And not only have the racks at swank Rockford Hills clothiers been updated with new designer outfits, necklaces, earrings and watches - the rack at your local Ammu-Nation's got a new Personal Defense Weapon, the Combat PDW.

The newest generation of Los Santos residents can also adorn select weaponry and attachments with Luxury Engravings, while luxury aircraft will afford new generation residents the opportunity to drink champagne and smoke cigars while flying high in the Los Santos skies.

In a separate report, IBTimes quoted renowned YouTuber iCrazyTeddy saying that GTA 5: Ill-Gotten Gains DLC (Part 2) would be released late this summer. In his video, iCrazyTeddy hinted that will add some test files on its game servers for the latest update several weeks before its actual release.

According to iCrazyTeddy, Funmw2 learned of these details on the upcoming Stunt Race gamemode through the advanced filters under Job Type > Race gamemode > Stunt Race and this could be a great addition to GTA Online, given the massive fan-following for stunt-based missions in GTA 5.

Rockstar has made no official announcement of the release date of the highly anticipated GTA 6. However, the game publisher has given hints, with a statement from Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar North, saying in a latest press conference that "We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do."

One thing we are certain at this time is that Ryan Gosling has accepted the offer of Rockstar to play the protagonist in the soon-to-be released GTA 6. VC Post cited an unnamed source as saying that Gosling has agreed to star in the next installment of the successful franchise. The setting would be Vice City, with the time being the 1980s.  The report said that Rockstar has tailor-made a protagonist for Gosling with the 80s setting.

To date, there are several speculations about the actual release of GTA 6, with some speculating the next installment will be out as early as 2017. Other reports have indicated that GTA 6 will be available between 2018 and 2020.
