Black Friday Deals 2015: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Kids Tablet, NVIDIA Shield Discount at Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy

With the holiday season upon us, and Black Friday (along with Black Thursday, also known as Thanksgiving) in the next week, many consumers are looking to purchase a tablet for others or themselves.  While there are many Apple iPad options available for deals at this time, some may prefer to go the Android route.  If that is the case, then here is a deal on the NVIDIA Shield Tablet and Other Black Friday Android Tablet Deals (Samsung, Polaroid, and RCA)at Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy.

There has been a recent development with the NVIDIA Shield 8-inch gaming tablet as it has been slashed to $199 from its original $299.  The Shield uses NVIDIA's K1 processor and has 16 GB of storage with microSD support, as well as dual front-facing speakers.  It is currently running Android Lollipop, but it will soon be upgraded to Android 6.0 (otherwise known as Marshmallow) within the coming months.  The reason for the sudden price change has to do with an issue with the battery, and it had to order a recall for every single unit last summer, says The Verge

In addition to the savings for this one Android gaming tablet, there are many Android tablets that will be up for good sales this holiday season at renowned retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart. 

Best Buy

Best Buy has their ad prominently displayed with Black Friday Doorbusters with doors opening on Thanksgiving Thursday at 5 PM, then closes at Friday 1 AM, then re-opens at 8 AM.  One of the lowest prices seen for an Android tablet is the Digiland 10.1-inch with 16 GB, a Friday doorbuster for $59.99.  There is also the Galaxy Tab A 9.7-inch with 16 GB for $229.99, the Galaxy Tab E 9.6-inch with 16 GB for $199.99, and the Galaxy Tab 4 7-inch with 8 GB for $119.99.  There is also a Samsung Kids 7-inch model with 8GB for $99.99, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch with 32 GB for $399.99. 

Target

Doors open Thursday at 6:00 PM for Target with a lot of interesting deals and doorbusters.  One of the lowest prices is the Polaroid 9-inch Android 4.4 tablet with a wireless keyboard, Bluetooth, and Quad Core processor for $49.99.  Another good deal is the RCA 8-inch Android tablet with 8 GB and HD Screen. 

Wal-Mart

As for Wal-Mart, their Black Friday starts at 6 PM Thursday, and there are quite a bit of deal.  For example, the RCA 7-inch Voyager II Android Ad-Free tablet will have an extremely low price of 28.88.  They are also offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Android Tablet for a $79 special buy.  A good kids' present would be the Nabi Nick Jr. Kids Android Tablet for $79.  There is also a deal with the RCA 10 Viking Pro Android 2-in-1 with Detachable Keyboard and Trackpad for $79.
