Franklin Graham Leaves GOP: 'We Need Godly Men And Women to Change This Wicked System'

Franklin Graham is fed up with the establishment games. He is so fed up that he is putting action to those feelings and leaving the Republican Party. Graham is re-registering as an independent and will be holding prayer rallies in all 50 states during the 2016 election season.

Graham has been pretty disgusted with what's going on in the government for a while now, but it would seem that the two straws that broke this giant camel's back were the omnibus spending bill and the continued funding of Planned Parenthood.

In a Facebook post he wrote, "Shame on the Republicans and the Democrats for passing such a wasteful spending bill last week! And to top it off, funding Planned Parenthood! A Huffington Post article called it 'a big win for Planned Parenthood.' I call it a big loss for America."

He compared the actions and statements of Planned Parenthood to Nazi Germany saying, "Seeing and hearing Planned Parenthood talk nonchalantly about selling baby parts from aborted fetuses with utter disregard for human life is reminiscent of Joseph Mengele and the Nazi concentration camps! That should've been all that was needed to turn off the faucet for their funding."

The over 2000 page Omnibus spending bill allows for 1.1 trillion in spending and includes provisions for planned parenthood. Because of these things, Graham said on his Facebook page that, "I have no hope in the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, or Tea Party to do what is best for America. Unless more godly men and women get in this process and change this wicked system, our country is in for trouble.

We need mayors, county commissioners, city council members, school board members who will uphold biblical values. In just a couple of weeks, I will begin going state by state to every capital in our nation to hold prayer rallies for our country and share this same challenge on the Decision America Tour."

The Decision America tour website notes that the national prayer rally will be kicked off in Des Moines, Iowa on January 5, 2016. Graham says that the focus will be to, "challenge Christians to live out their faith at home, in public and at the ballot box -- and I will share the Gospel."

He says in the video in part that, "I believe this next election may be the most important in the history of our nation, and we can have an impact on this. We're not supporting any candidates, we're not supporting any party, but we want to lift up the name of Jesus. I want people to come to capital steps like this where we're going to pray. And I'm going to preach a Gospel message and encourage Christians to stand up and let their voice be heard."

He also stated at the website that, "America is at a crossroads, and I believe we should take every opportunity to stand up for the things of God and His Word.

There are opportunities at The Decision America website for interested Christians to get involved as a part of an area prayer team, volunteer at rallies, get their church involved, sign a pledge, and, of course, attend a rally.
