Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator joins the roster of 'WWE 2K16' fighters

For the brand-new year, 2K sports announced that they include a famous actor and politician in the latest update of WWE 2k16. Along with other DLCs, the standalone Terminator DLC is now available.

According to the game publisher, the latest DLC update includes two version of Arnold Schwarzenegger: T-800 from the Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day films. The publisher also uploaded a preview trailer on their YouTube channel. Watch the teaser below.

The Terminator update belongs to the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase expansion pack. Game developers said they added the Terminator because of the character's numerous appearances in the wrestling program. Moreover, other Hall of Famers includes Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Rikishi, Alundra Blayze, Paige, and more. These wrestlers are also included in seven matches.

Last month, WWE 2k16 also released another DLC called the "Legends Pack," which introduces six playable legend wrestlers. It includes Lita (four-time WWF Women's Champion), Mr. Perfect (two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion) and Trish Stratus (seven-time WWF/E Women's Champion).

As for the other DLCs, wrestling fans will definitely enjoy the "New Moves" pack, which offers more than 30 new moves from wide variety of wrestlers. Get a chance to use WWE Diva Paige's Avalanche Ram, Diva Nikki Bella's Corner Enzuigiri, NXT Superstar Finn Bálor's Dragon Sleeper, WWE Superstar Stardust's Standing Crossface Chickenwing and many more.

In the Accelerator pack, wrestling players can use new in-game items and accessories as it becomes available.

Gregg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts, said the latest expansion pack is WWE 2K16's largest roster in the franchise history. He also added that the new upgrades are at "excellent value" for gamers. Visual Concepts is the developer of WWE 2k16.

Speaking of value, 2K sports is giving away 20% discount for players who will buy Season Pass ($24.99), instead of buying the DLC packages individually. The Season Pass pack includes Accelerator ($1.99), Legends Pack ($8.99), Future Stars Pack ($7.99), 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase ($10) and New Moves Pack ($3.99).

If you want to have more from WWE 2k16, the publisher offers Digital Deluxe Editions of WWE 2K16. The premium package is now available for pre-order in PlayStationTM Network and Xbox Live at the price of $89.99.

WWE 2K16 is playable in PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One systems.

In a game review from IGN, the wrestling sim got 8.8/10 score. The review praised WWE 2k16's huge rosters of wrestlers and unique fighting gameplay.
