'Pokemon the Movie XY & Z' Release Date, Rumors And Latest Roundup of New Pokémons Updates

The highly-popular animated franchise is coming back on screen. 'Pokemon the Movie XY & Z' will premiere on Japanese theaters on July 16, 2016. With this announcement, some fans believe the Pokemon Z game will hit the gaming shelves very soon.

The 19th film in the Pokémon franchise will feature mythical and legendary Pokemon as new characters. The highly anticipated film is titled "The Pokemon the Movie XY & Z: Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna," which has an English translation "Pokémon the Movie: X Y & Z - Volcanion and the Exquisite Mechanical Magearna."

It is speculated that the Pokemon Z game is the next iteration of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. Therefore, the film could offer a glimpse of the contents of Pokemon Z game.

One of the new Pokemons in the movie is Magearna. According to Polygon, the latest legendary pokemon is made from metal and has a rounded body. It is also bipedal and classified as "man-made." Created 500 years, the creature stands 3 ft. 3 in. tall and weighs 177.5 lbs.

On other hand, Volcanion was unveiled by the Pokémon Company last year, and some curious fans saw the creature in the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. This Fire/Water type Pokémon is being set up as a fan favorite. With amazing capabilities that viewers can look forward, the mythical Pokemon will be an exciting thing to watch.

 "It uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and boiling steam from the arms on its back," Volcanion's official description from Pokémon website says. The monster has also a power to destroy an entire mountain and change the shape of the earth.

As for the plot of 'Pokemon The Movie XY & Z', it is about the adventure of Volcanion and Ash in a city of gears and cogs wherein the Artificial Pokemon Magearna has been stolen by an evil minister. Watch how Ash, together with Volcanion, will rescue Magearna from the wicked plans of the minister. So, expect a great battle in the upcoming Pokemon move.

Both Magearna and Volcanion are not playable in Pokemon videogames. Additionally, there is no word yet from The Pokemon Company or Nintendo if these new additions are included in the much-anticipated Pokemon Go and Pokemon Z.
