As the game expected to be released this year, Pokemon Go conducted a beta test in Japan. With that beta program, a number of leaks are circulating online. One of these is the first 151 Pokemon to be included in the augmented-reality game from Niantic. Now, here's the latest update about Pokemon Go release date, beta test and rumors on the web.

According to N4BB, Niantic Labs have conducted a beta program with selected Japanese gamers. With the help of some folks in Reddit, some interesting details about the game revealed. Pokemon Go will feature 151 Pokemons from the original generation. IGN reported all of the Pokemons are divided into three categories: normal, legendary, and mythic. However, a player will start the game with no Pokemon. It is also reported that Pokemon Go will feature 500 different Pokemons, and players will receive Pokemon eggs.

For other information, the game will have day and night cycles. Some Pokemons will be found at selected times of the day. There's also new stat variable called "CP," which will give information about wild Pokemons nearby.

Furthermore, a player will also get evolution shards after facing some Pokemon. By collecting this item, players will receive evolution stones to power-up their Pokemon. For the moves, a separate article from IGN said that there are 232 moves in the game. It is also reported that 95 of these moves are "Quick Moves."

In addition, there might be a dodge move. Players of the previous Pokemon games only relied on Pokemon's evasion stat, so a new move is a good addition in the game.

For the types of Pokemon, all of the 18 types will be included in the game. Expect there are Pokemons under Dark, Bug, Dragon, Electric, Fairy, Fighting, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice, Normal, Poison, Psychic, Rock, Steel, and Water.

Furthermore, Pokemon Go will introduce Badges. This feature is an award system for challenges. These are not equivalent to the Badges from Pokemon Gyms. Players can get these Badges by capturing Pokemon, hatching Pokemon eggs, evolving Pokemon and more.

The most exciting part of the upcoming augmented-reality game is the Trainer Customization. Players will be given a chance to customize their trainer's look. At the moment, players can use 52 items to personalize their trainers.

With that, Pokemon Go will surely become a hit once it is released this year.
