‘Call of Duty Black Ops 3’ DLC Descent Release Date With Information of Four Maps and on the Zombie Level and Livestream on July 11

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is quite a hit game, and it has some huge DLC (Downloadable Content) with Awakening, Eclipse, and now Descent.  Descent is planning a release date this week at this time of writing, and there will be four new maps as well as some zombie levels.  There is some information about a livestream event coming on Monday, July 11th

According to Movie News Guide, players will get the opportunity to explore four new multiplayer maps in the Descent DLC for Call of Duty Black Ops 3, with only three of them new to the franchise.  One of them is Berserk, a "Viking village frozen in time [because of blizzards]", with players getting control of the village's center bridge to explore wooden buildings, and there is going to be a lot of wall-running.

Rumble is a robot battle arena, some kind of stadium, and it is not clear what kind of fighting will happen.   It looks like there will be a lot of wall-running and serious fighting as well.

Cryogen is a circular place with sentry towers off the coast of the Dead Sea, which is an isolated cryogenic prison.  There is a lot of action in the middle of this map and there will be attacks from on high.

The last one is Empire, which is a remake of Raid, but with a Roman twist.  Everything looks like it is kind of some weird Roman villa recreated by some modern-day eccentric billionaire, and there will also be some kind of wall-running.

There is also going to be zombies, and if you pre-order, you can get an exclusive DLC 3 zombies dynamic system theme, according to the official Call of Duty website.  There is the latest episode of the zombies experience is known as Gorod Krovi, with origins of characters hurled into an alternate, war-torn Stalingrad where element 115 started a war between mechanized soldiers and deadly dragons.

It actually sounds like some kind of sequence that is in the underappreciated Zac Synder film Sucker Punch, and it takes place after the Origins characters escape the swamps of Zetsubou No Shima.  This zombies level could have a new Ray gun in the game and a chance to control the dragons and fight some Russian mechs.

If you want more information about it, Gotta Be Mobile reports that there will be a Call of Duty Black Ops 3 DLC 3 live stream where there will be more learned about the map at 11 AM Pacific/2 PM Eastern on Monday, July 11th.

Descent is scheduled to arrive on the July 15th for the Sony PlayStation 4.  As for when it arrives to the Xbox One and the PC, it is slated to arrive in August.  Look forward in September, there is a 2016 Call of Duty XP event where gamers will be able to play the fourth DLC of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 ahead of the release.
