As many fans looked forward to the return of Jill Duggar-Dillard and Jessa Duggar-Seewald on TLC's 'Jill & Jessa: Counting On,' the season 2 premiere offered a glimpse of Jill and husband Derick's missionary work in Central America as well as Jessa and husband Ben's plans of raising their family.
In addition, their sister Jinger revealed that she had big news about her future.
After she announced her courtship with former Major League player Jeremy Vuolo, the Duggar family is surprised with his visit and Jinger asks Jill and Derick for relationship advice.
Before the end of the second episode, Duggar patriarch Jim Bob made a cameo and touched on the subject of physical contact between Jinger and Jeremy. Despite his efforts to be involved in the said relationship as the primary advice-giver, his appearance on 'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' season 2 has been received with negative reviews.
Nonetheless, Jim Bob sought to offer counsel on Jinger and Jeremy's "sex plans" as shown on the recent episode.
"I have a desire to save the physical for marriage," Jeremy told his future father-in-law.
"Good answer," Jim Bob said in response, while adding: "It will be interesting to see over the next few years where the Lord leads this relationship."
Meanwhile, Jinger showed her appreciation for her fiancée's visit to their family's home in Arkansas, saying: "I am completely in love. We're thinking fast track is always better."
As Jeremy finds the perfect engagement ring, he also made preparations to propose to the Duggar daughter.
"It's just been very clear to me that this is the woman that I want to marry," he shared.
The pair's engagement was announced in July, merely weeks after making their courtship public. Although Jinger and Jeremy are still deciding on a wedding date, the couple had previously released their engagement photos.
Jeremy assures family members, friends and fans that he and his fiancée will be announcing their wedding plans very soon so viewers will have to look forward to this 'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' update.
Meanwhile, Jinger's sister Jessa shared certain posts that have already sparked rumors that she and husband Ben might be welcoming another baby.
In the photos for their pregnancy announcement, a caption stating "Doubling the Love Feb 2017" was included; baby Spurgeon Elliott's mother also wrote in her blog that they are "expecting a baby or babies!"
Before the Seewald couple announced the pregnancy, in time for 'Jill and Jessa: Counting On' season 2, Jessa and Ben opened up about their plans for adoption. Earlier this year, it was reported by Us Weekly that the Seewalds had been working on their paper works for adoption as well as a home study.
"We have many friends who have walked this road, so we have seen firsthand the amazing power of adoption," Jessa said in the interview. "There are so many kids out there who are longing for the love of a family, and we feel strongly about opening our hearts and our home to welcome them in."
Before exchanging wedding vows in 2014, the couple already discussed the pros and cons of adoption, but such plans were put on hold when Jessa got pregnant with Spurgeon.
The 'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' air date for its second season is on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm on TLC.
