NBA Rumors: New York Knicks Sign Chris Bosh Minimum Deal; Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose Push Super Team

The New York Knicks are all set to make a run for the NBA playoffs this coming season, but it looks like one member of their Big Three is having trouble getting focused. With the Derrick Rose rape case still posing an uncertain future for the Kristaps Porzingis team, it comes as no surprise that Carmelo Anthony is looking for alternatives. Hence, a Chris Bosh minimum deal with the New York Knicks is said to be on its way.

The Miami Heat had been facing roster problems ever since LeBron James exited and re-joined the Cleveland Cavaliers for a title run - a mission he accomplished courtesy of the intense Game 7 they had against the Golden State Warriors. In the offseason, the Hassan Whiteside team also saw the departure of Dwyane Wade who signed with the Chicago Bulls to team up with Jimmy Butler and Rajon Rondo. This leaves Chris Bosh as the only member from the Big Three that brought back to back championships to the Miami Heat.

However, it looks like even Chris Bosh might be gone soon. Rumors are rife that the Miami Heat, who now perceive Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic as the future of the basketball squad, are pushing for a Chris Bosh trade this offseason. Will he be sent packing to the New York Knicks?

The entry of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah to the New York Knicks made the Carmelo Anthony squad a legit contender next NBA season. However, it looks like the favorite son of Chicago might have gotten himself in deep trouble as he has yet to resolve his legal issues. Will the Derrick Rose rape case cause the New York Knicks to pursue a Chris Bosh deal?

The answers remain uncertain. At this point, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat are optimistic about rekindling their relationship in the hardwood court with Hassan Whiteside hoping to see the veteran alongside him this season. As for the New York Knicks, Carmelo Anthony is fresh off his third gold medal win from the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is anticipated to bring the winning mentality to help fellow leaders Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose.

"In all the years [I've known] Carmelo Anthony since he's been in high school, and I hope he doesn't beat me up, I've never once in my life received a phone call. I got a phone call from Carmelo Anthony. He said, 'If there's any year in your life to be a New York Knicks fan, it's this one. And go hard.' And I said, 'Melo, what are you saying?' He called me from Brazil. And he said, 'I promise you, this is going to be an incredible year for the Knicks,'" shared Fat Joe, a longtime fan of the basketball team.
