Samsung is now gearing up to release a new batch A series smartphones. The specifications of Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) have been published on GFXBench. Based on their benchmark tests, the new A3 and A7 will come with upgraded camera technology and better processor.

To begin, let's start with the features of Galaxy A7 2017. GFXBench listing shows the device sports a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels - the same as the outgoing A7 2016 phone.

Inside, the 2017 A7 is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz - a upgrade from the current model's 1.6 GHz chip. Aside from better CPU, the phone has 3GB of RAM, ARM Mali-T830 GPU and 32GB of internal storage. The latter is upgradable via MicroSD card.

In terms of camera technology, gadget lovers who love take photos will definitely like the new features of Samsung Galaxy A7 handset. The 2017 model can shoot better images than the outgoing model. The rear and front camera of the phone are packed with 16-megapixel sensor. For comparison, the current model only offers 13-MP main camera and 5-MP selfie camera.

Photography experts say the higher pixel count of Galaxy A7 2017 will help users capture better quality images. In addition, the higher pixel count of the front camera is good news for users who love to take selfies.

According to a report from Digital Trends, Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 will become available on December.

Now, let's see the new features of Samsung Galaxy A3 2017. GFXBench listing shows the handset features 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Under the hood, it is fueled by 1.5 GHz octa-core processor, 1.8 of RAM and ARM Mali-T830 GPU. The only upgrade on the new handset is its slightly bigger RAM. The previous model only offers 1.5 GB RAM.

For storing files, the phone has 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB through MicroSD card.

In terms of camera features, the new Galaxy A3 comes with 12-MP shooter and 7-MP front camera. Both cameras are capable of recording full HD video. However, the only improvement is on the front shooter. The current A3 handset only features 5-MP selfie camera.

The connectivity options of the upcoming A3 handset are Wi-Fi, NFC, new Bluetooth standard, Bluetooth 5.0, and LTE support.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 will be released on December 2016, together with the new Galaxy A7.
