Good news for gamers out there. We might see the May 2017 Update of Clash of Clans next week. Some tech insiders claim Supercell developers are now gearing up to roll out the May 2017 Balancing update to focus on the much-awaited Shipwreck Update.

Now, here's the latest news about Clash of Clans May 2017 Update release date and change logs.

According to Clash of Clans website, there will be a "BIG update" alongside with the May 2017 Balancing update. The developer has not yet revealed the contents of the BIG update, but some say it is different from the heavily-rumored the Boat update.

The upcoming balance update will come with new spell levels at Town Hall 10 and 11 that will make freezes, heals, and clones more powerful than before.

In Town Hall 11, Clone Spell Level 5 will significantly increase the cloning capacity, allowing players to get 8 Balloons or even 2 Dragons per spell. In addition, Freeze Spell Level 6 will allow troops to spend more time attacking the Eagle Artillery.

In Town Hall 9, players will be able to get 7th Gold Mine and Elixir Collector.

There's also an increase in Bomb damage. One Bomb can crush a Wall Breaker of the same level. The attack rate of Balloon increased too, making it more damaging than previous updates.

In an article published in International Business Times, it says the May 2017 balance changes do not have much impact in the game. In fact, most of the adjustments will only be felt by high-level players. Nonetheless, the changes would certainly create an interesting effect on the battles.

Developers at Supercell revealed that the upcoming update will also bring a new game mode. Blorge previously reported that the new feature will be the Versus Battle mode, which is very similar to the 1v1 or PvP mode in Clash Royale.

On Monday, the developers released the fourth teaser of Shipwreck Update. The 53-second clip shows the characters Wizard, Hog Rider and Pig sailing across an endless sea. Several tech websites claim The Boat update or the Broken Boat update will allow players to expand their settlement and create a new village in new lands. Watch the teaser here.
