Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Status for Moto X Pure Edition, Moto X Play; Moto X 2016 Release Date
This year, Motorola has updated its smartphone lineup with the new Moto X Style and Moto X Play models. The former is known as Moto X Pure Edition in the US. Since they are among the manufacturers’ newest devices, both of them are expected to be included in Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow update roster.

The rumors that the company will be jumping over 5.1.1 Lollipop are fueled by reports by a Greek tech site claiming that the LG G3 and LG G4 smartphones will not be treated with the Android 5.1.1 OS.
