Feb 13th, 1,200 children and their parents gathered at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Center for a New Year evangelism celebration. The celebration, held by the Hong Kong Baptist Church, was a conclusion of the three-day's "Hong Kong Youth Worship & Praise Seminar", which lasted from Feb 11 to 13.

The seminar was conducted by the Bread of Life Christian Church of Taipei. About 800 children and teeagers participated for the event. In a statement released to the press, the organizers hoped that the seminar would encourage children to play a key role in uniting their whole family in prayer, and to identify themselves as the "torch and herald" of Hong Kong's future.

Chrisitan as well as non-Christian children and parents were invited to attend the event. During the two-hour performances, participants were treated to musicals, dances, and worship performances. About 30 children were led to Christ afterwards, reports event organizers.

Mrs. Chong, President of the organizing committee, expressed her hope that this passion of faith can continue to be revealed in the life of each and every child.
