Despite fans' fervent wishes that there be a "19 Kids and Counting" reboot, the family refuses to support these false hopes. They already address the rumors and truthfully said the show might not happen.

The family released a statement in the Duggar Family Blog that they are well aware that their fans are waiting for their return on TV. However, they do not want them believing what tabloids are saying - that they will have a new show soon, that Josh Duggar is joining the new show, that Jana Duggar will be the main star of the show, and that they already have been shooting.

"As of right now, there has been no official, public word from either TLC or the Duggar family regarding the possibility of a new show. Rest assured that if and when an announcement is made, we will share all the details. Meanwhile, we will continue to post the latest Duggar news and updates," the statement reads.

The family also squashed hurtful rumors that Danica Dillon was paid by TLC network to drop her lawsuit against Josh. Many were surprised that the porn star who was accusing Josh of being violent against her during one of their paid sex sessions suddenly refused to press charges anymore. As a result, some are speculating that TLC paid her off so that the family, especially Josh, will have a fresh start when the new show happens.

The family stated that "both parties signed to allow the case to be dismissed "with prejudice," which means the Plaintiff cannot file another complaint based on the same occurrences. Likewise, Josh agreed not to request the Court to rule that the allegations made against him were false,"

The blog further addressed that there are no truths to the rumors of TLC's involvement. "To those who have accused TLC or the Duggar family of paying the Plaintiff off to dismiss the case, part of the agreement required the Plaintiff to agree that she "will bear her own costs and fees in this matter and that no one has or will pay her any money to resolve this matter," the blog reads.

The Inquisitr, however, reported that fans are continuously hoping that a spinoff will happen, despite all these statements from the family. Fans wrote that TLC should not be punishing the "true fans." Other fans took to the Duggar Family Official Facebook page to express their desires to see the big family back on TV.
