The 2015 Ford Mustang GT
Is it worth the price? Car and Driver

Just looking at the Ford Mustang GT certain inspires years of "pony car" tradition, as the sleek version for this year (or last year if you look at the release date of December 2014) certainly looks sleek and, dare I say it, sexy. However, is the 2015 Ford Mustang GT really worth what you will pay for it? Here is a 2015 Ford Mustang GT Review, as well as the specs, price, and video.

First of all, it is no doubt that the 2015 Ford Mustang GT is a good car. It achieved a 5 star rating on Car and Driver, as well as making the 10 Best list. So what makes it so special?

Well, according to Left Lane News, the Ford Mustang GT has an updated look, an improved interior, a choice of three engines and a more advanced suspension. The driver has a choice of three engines including a budget-minded V6 model or an efficient EcoBoost variant, but most Mustang enthusiasts will opt for the V8-powered GT model.

The V8 engine is a 5.0 liter that sends over 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft. of torque to the rear wheels, this means that it gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway, but only with the six -speed automatic, controlled by shift paddles mounted behind the steering wheel at no extra cost.

The Mustang GT Convertible is offered in a single trim level that is known as Premium, and this Premium is pretty costly and comes with some standard features like dual-zone automatic A/C, cloth bucket seats, six-way power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, a nine-speaker stereo system (with amp), keyless entry, a rear-view camera, heated mirrors, HID headlights, rear diffuser, fog lights, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels.

As far as the interior is concerned, the 2015 Ford Mustang GT has some easy-to-read vintage-inspired gauges as well as an oversized three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. There are also some aviation-inspired toggle switches mounted at the bottom of the center console to let the driver switch the traction control system off and adjust the car's electric power steering for standard, sport, and comfort modes.

Also standard on Mustang GT Convertibles is SYNC, which is Ford's Bluetooth-based connectivity system that allows smartphone users to place calls as well as stream music using voice commands or steering wheel-mounted buttons. It also comes with MyFord Touch, which allows the driver to control everything from navigation to climate control with an eight-inch touchscreen, not to mention dual 4.2 inch displays on the instrument cluster as well as touch-sensitive controls in the center stack.

If you want it, then be prepared to pay the MSRP of about $24,700. It is also available to lease for about $382 per month. For those interested in watching a video of the 2015 Mustang GT in action, check out this one from AutoGuide.com.
