After months of anticipation, Chevrolet has finally unveiled the sixth generation 2016 Camaro Z28 in Detroit at a special event held at the Bell Isle Park coinciding the pony car's 50^th anniversary. The 2016 Camaro Z28 comes in three variants, including a new 3.6-liter V6 engine that is capable of producing 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque, a marked improvement from the Camaro 5^th generation with 323 hp and 278 lb-ft, said Digital Trends

An SS model with 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that is capable of unleashing 455 hp and 455 lb.-ft. of torque also available. Chevrolet said this version of the 2016 Camaro Z28 is meaner and more powerful compared to its civil counterpart, and "will bring to life the most powerful Camaro SS ever.

A 6.2-liter LT1 V8 with 455 hp and matching torque is planned for SS models, but the inevitable Z28 is still under wraps. The car will undoubtedly be meaner, more powerful, and more aggressive than its comparatively civil counterparts, and Hungarian artist X-Tomi Design has given us an idea of what the sixth-gen Z28 could look like.

Aside from the 3.6-liter V6 and 6.2-liter V8, the 2016 Camaro Z28 will offer a 2.0-liter Turbo version. The turbocharged is driving force with 275 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque is primed for unexpected levels of refined performance and response.

The 2016 Camaro Z28 will weigh lighter since it has smaller body than its predecessor. It could be great news for any people especially for those who want to have a fast car. There is also a rear spoiler placed on back. It becomes great addition for the car's performance. However, it is better to wait for any information from Chevrolet that explains about the function of spoiler.

For navigation panel, there will be some features that are often found on car. Chevrolet will also add some great points to make the cabin is more comfortable and any people will feel cozy inside the car for a long ride.

2016 Camaro Z28 is Talk of The Town

Indeed the Camaro Z28 is the current talk of the town as far as sports cars are concerned.

Automotive News has compiled what experts are saying about the new 2016 Camaro Z28.

"The new seating position is excellent, and the new lower dashboard helps with outward forward visibility. But the Camaro still makes you feel like you're sitting in a bunker, looking out of a gun slit. Ride and handling are outstanding, with the suspension able to soak up track imperfections with ease, while not disturbing either the steering or stability. The brakes feel much stronger as well.
