Here's a good news for those who can't wait to drive the new 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT. Ford has announced that the redesigned 2016 Ford Mustang is set to arrive at Harbin Automotive in Scottsboro, Alabama, complete with new tech and trim packages for the upcoming model year. Boasting trademark swagger with a performance profile that improves on the Mustangs of old, the 2016 edition promises to turn heads when it arrives at Harbin Automotive this fall.

In addition to the new Shelby GT350 lurking at the top of the lineup, three powertrain options are offered under the hood of the standard-issue Mustang. The base engine for 2016 is a potent 3.7-liter V-6 configuration that growls with 300 horsepower, 280 pound-feet of torque, and an impressive 28 highway mpg according to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates.

This stands side-by-side with the popular 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder platform, one which returns 310 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque. At the higher reaches of the Mustang lineup, meanwhile, are two potent V-8 options: the GT's 435-horsepower 5.0-liter, and the all-new Shelby GT 350's 526-horsepower 5.2-liter. Across the entire 2016 Mustang lineup, there truly is a powertrain for every driver.

Once inside the 2016 Ford Mustang, drivers will now enjoy the just-released SYNC 3 technology suite, which delivers hands-free, voice-activated access to smartphone functions such as streaming audio or turn-by-turn navigation. The easy-to-use design and host of new features provide next-level connectivity for the life of the Alabama Mustang driver.

Of course, it's the design of the 2016 Ford Mustang that continues to inspire drivers of all ages, and this has never been more true than in the new model year. A sleek, fastback-inspired silhouette makes the most of the Mustang's customizable driving modes, while fully independent rear suspension and double-ball-joint front suspension make for a performance profile that is smooth and responsive.

The 2016 Ford Mustang is coming soon to Harbin Automotive, located near Huntsville in Scottsboro, Alabama. Interested drivers are encouraged to visit the dealership for further details or to schedule a test drive.
