Due to Draymond Green's actions during Game 4 between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the power forward has been given a Flagrant 1 Foul. And, since this is his fourth one in the current season, Green has been suspended for one game, which means he will not be able to join the rest of the Warriors at Game 5.

The penalty was given to the athlete after the incident on June 10 was reviewed by the league. As explained by Kiki VanDeWeghe, the NBA'S executive vice president for basketball operations, Green will also serve a one-game suspension after acquiring his fourth Flagrant Foul in the 2016 postseason.

The controversial incident happened during the fourth quarter of Game 4 when Green fell on the floor and LeBron James stepped over him. Viewing it as a sign of disrespect, Green stood up and allegedly swiped his hand at James' groin.

This may seem like a very light matter but as explained by VanDeWeghe, it only added to Green's previous penalties.

"The cumulative points system is designed to deter flagrant fouls in our game," he said according to NBA.com. "While Draymond Green's actions in Game 4 do not merit a suspension as a standalone act, the number of flagrant points he has earned triggers a suspension for Game 5."

Since Green has always been a dominant force for the Warriors, a lot of basketball fans believe his absence in the upcoming game will greatly impede the team's overall performance. But, on the contrary, it could also provide the desired effect of motivating the Warriors to do even better.

As Klay Thompson said in response to Green's suspension, he and the rest of the Warriors are planning to go all out to win the game for their teammate, according to ESPN. Other members of the Golden State franchise are also reportedly pumped up for Game 5 after learning that Green will not be able to play with them.

This puts the Cavs in a very dangerous place. Right now, the Warriors are leading the series 3-1 and one more win means they'll be able to put away Cleveland for good.
