For Stephen Curry, the Game 6 of the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors could be the most important match in his career. For him, heading to Game 7 is not an option and he's prepared to do everything that he can to win the series on Thursday.

The Warriors started the series by gaining a strong lead over the Cavs in the first two games of the Finals. But then, in Game 3, the Cavaliers managed to secure a win in their hometown.

The Golden State franchise was then able to regain the 2-game deficit in Game 4 after ending the match with a score of 108-97. However, before Game 5 rolled in, the NBA suspended Warriors power forward Draymond Green due to his accumulated flagrant fouls.

Due to his absence, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were able to take advantage of the Warriors crumbling defense in Game 5. With the series at 3-2 in favor of the Warriors, Cleveland is looking to secure Game 6 to tie the series and hopefully win the finals at Game 7.

This is probably why Curry is steadily focused on the upcoming match on Thursday. For him, and probably the rest of the Warriors community, Game 5 was supposed to be series-ending event. They plan to do this again on Game 6 in order to secure a back-to-back championship title.

"Yeah, we have a chance to win a championship, so definitely the biggest game, and I'm ready for it," he told USA Today.

For the upcoming match, Curry is preparing himself to play throughout the entire game and help out in any way he can to win it.

"I want to honestly play better and more consistent, but the situation is right now we're one game away from winning a second championship, and I personally have 48 minutes to do what I need to do to help my team win," he said.

"So right now you could kind of get lost in [the criticism]," he added. "But at the end of the day if I'm sitting here tomorrow night with another trophy and celebrating with my teammates, we can talk all day."
