It is still not yet clear who the Philadelphia Eagles will debut as its starting quarterback once the next NFL season rolls in. But, as clarified by the team's offensive coordinator, it seems Sam Bradford has not yet been chosen as the Eagles' starter.

This issue for the Eagles has been going on even before the draft event occurred. Back then, there have already been rumors that Philadelphia will draft a quarterback who could serve as the replacement of Bradford.

And, when the team was able to sign Carson Wentz, the exact role of Bradford with the Eagles got a bit blurry.

Probably in an attempt to settle the rumors, head coach Sam Pederson said that Bradford is still the team's number 1 QB, despite word about a competition between him and Wentz. But, recently, offensive coordinator Frank Reich provided a statement contradicting Pederson.

"No, that's probably not the right impression," he said about the idea of Bradford as the starter according to Bleeding Green Nation. "I've been around this business a long time as a player and as a coach, and one of the things I've really come to appreciate it it's not a contradiction to say you've got to have order."

"Because if you don't have order, it's chaos," he added. "So, if you're the head coach you gotta come in and you've gotta establish order. There has to be an organization, there has to be order, but the other thing that - as coaches - that you've got to establish is a culture of competition."

Based on what Reich said, it seems the Eagles will still proceed with a competition between Wentz and Bradford, wherein the winner will get the coveted starting spot. This, of course, is a generally good move for the entire team as it will help the coaches determine who is the best person to lead the team on the field.

But, as noted by Yahoo News, it seems Wentz already has an advantage over Bradford and backup QB Chase Daniel based on how he has been performing during the team's organized team activities.
