It seems things are not going so well between the Los Angeles Rams and its quarterback Nick Foles. And, as noted by various sources, this could lead the athlete to leave the Rams for another team, which could be the Arizona Cardinals.

Earlier this month, Foles missed out on the Rams' offseason training activities. Although the team's front office tried its best to downplay the situation, rumors suggested that this could be the result of the conflict between Foles and the team.

According to Inquisitr, Foles has been on edge ever since the team drafted Jared Goff. It has been speculated that Goff will serve as the Rams' starter, which means Foles will be pushed back to backup position.

But, word from Los Angeles indicates that these two will compete for the coveted spot. However, there is also a possibility that he will get traded away.

"I've had conversations with Nick and we're on the same page," coach Jeff Fisher said according to NFL.com. "And we're trying to work things out. We're in the process of sorting things out with Nick. It has nothing to do with him not wanting to come in and compete at all."

"I think Nick has the feeling that if things stay the same he's probably not going to be on the roster," he added. "But beyond that it was more of a mutual thing, not that we said don't come. It was just say, 'Hey coach I'd just rather stay away until we get things worked out.' And I said I'm fine with that."

If the Rams do proceed with a trade or if Foles decides to leave the team, one franchise he'll really be appreciated in is Arizona, Digital Journal reported. For one, the Cardinals' current quarterback, Carson Palmer, is already nearing old age in terms of NFL standards.

And, even though he's still a vital member of the team, his performance is already starting to wane. This is where Foles comes in. Sure, he'll probably be a backup during his first season with Arizona but shadowing Palmer with guarantee him the starting spot once the veteran QB leaves. And, with Foles already in the roster, it probably wouldn't take a long time before Arizona gives up Palmer.
