Thanksgiving Day is only a couple of days away so for those looking to dine on their special lunches and dinners while watching great NFL games, here are the scheduled matches for the upcoming holiday.

This year's NFL Thanksgiving Day games will be kicked off by a match between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings. These two squads will certainly be interesting to match especially since aside from being strong playoff contenders, they are also currently holding identical records.

The game between these two franchises will begin at 12:30 pm Eastern Time, right after the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Then, at 4:30 pm, the Washington Redskins will take on this season's strongest team, the Dallas Cowboys. The latter squad will be hosting the game at the AT&T Stadium. Dak Prescott, will of course, headline for the Cowboys after it was recently finalized that Tony Romo will now serve as the team's backup quarterback. This has been largely considered as a wise move by the Dallas franchise especially given the way Prescott has been leading the team to consecutive wins this season.

Rounding up the holiday will be the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts at 8:30 pm. These two will meet in the Colts' hometown. Currently, these two are no longer considered playoff contenders but this could still change within the next few weeks.

The games involving these six squads will be broadcasted by the major television networks NBC, Fox and CBS. NFL fans will be able to watch the games through the channels for Time Warner, Verizon Fios, DirecTV, Dish Network and New Visions.

Aside from these television channels, live stream events will also be held for the Thanksgiving Day games. One site where fans will be able to enjoy the upcoming games is through the NFL RedZone, which also offers pre-game and post-game coverage and highlights. Aside from online streaming, NFL RedZone can also be accessed by most cable and satellite subscribers.

Fans can also turn to NBC Sports Live Extra for streaming games and the NBC Sports Live Extra app for those looking to watch the games on their mobile devices.
