The 3rd Gospel Singing Competition was held on the Sunday, October 26,2003 at the New Delhi YMCA premises. A total number of 36 entries were received from churches ranging from the Methodist, Baptist, Catholic and schools from St. Michel’s, Frank Anthony Public School, Faith Academy and Stephen Thomas Hostel Choir.

The programme was graced by Rev.Walter David, President, Baptist Church Trust Association, who also said the opening prayer, also present were Members of the New Delhi YMCA Board Mr.Arnold James and Mr.Sandeep Arora along with their spouses, Mr. Jag Mohan Chhabra, Chairman, Christian Emphasis Committee along with his spouse, Mr.Prakash Manwar, member, Christian Emphasis Committee and many other New Delhi YMCA Members.

The competition was in three categories of Solo Female, Solo Male and Group and following was the result:

The 400 strong audience enjoyed the special numbers belted out by the contestants. The high light of the event was a special solo number by Rev.Susana James, As. Pastor, St.James’ Church, Kashmere Gate and a Pujnabi duet by Mr. and Mrs Jag Mohan Chhabra.

The trophies and certificates to the winners were given over by Mr.Jag Mohan Chhabra, Mr.Arnold James and Mr.Sandeep Arora. Certificate of Participation were also given to all the participants. Rev. Susana James said the closing prayer and pronounced the benediction at the end of the programmes.
