Acer is set to release a pair of 2-in-1 notebooks in the market. The devices, named as Switch V 10 and Switch One 10, are expected to offer helpful features as they are aimed for students. Now, here's the latest round-up of update about the upcoming 2-in-1 Acer notebooks.

The tech company unveiled the two upcoming notebooks ahead of Computex Taipei. According to The Verge, the said event will kick off next week. In the tech show, Acer is expected to reveal their brand new series of computers, including the pair of upcoming 2-in-1 notebooks.

As for the specs of two Acer products, let's start with Switch V 10. Several tech sites reported that the device will be available with 32 GB or 64 GB of storage, with included metal outer cover. It will sport USB Type-C port for charging and video output. It will also feature a built-in fingerprint reader for secure Windows Hello access. A dual band MIMO 802.11ac WiFi will also be included in the device.

Furthermore, Switch V 10 will have Acer's Snap Hinge that lets users position the 2-in-1 notebook into four different modes: tent, pad, notebook and display. The positions can be properly done by opening, folding and repositioning the device.

Also, the device will sport new antimicrobial-treated Corning Gorilla Glass cover. Its touch screen can be used by taking notes, draw, write and highlight on Web pages through Microsoft Edge.

As for its price, Tech Times reported that the two 2-in-1 notebooks will be budget-friendly because they are aimed at students. Switch V 10 will cost $249.

On the other hand, Switch One 10 will feature dark grey brushed metal cover and a high definition touch screen display. The device will also be available in 32 GB and 64 GB of storage. Latest Intel Atom Chips will also be included in it. The device will feature magnetic hinge between the keyboard and the tablet that is not latched. Regarding battery life, it can last for up to 9 hours that will surely help a student through a day of school works.

Interestingly, Acer stated that it would be available in Pearl White, Shale Black, Coral Red, Navy Blue and Peacock Blue.

The Switch One 10 will come with $199 price tag. It is said that it will rival Chromebooks which are also affordable.

The official release dates of the two upcoming 2-in-1 notebooks are still not confirmed. However, reports say that their availability will begin in July for North America.
