The "Adoration" Tour of Spring 2004, featuring three of the most acclaimed artists, Rebecca St. James, Newsboys, and Jeremy Camp ended successfully with 25 sold out shows out of the 35 performed. However the thrill and excitement of it all did not end as St. James and the Newsboys announced that they will perform at 16 more concerts beginning this November.
Indeed, the spring "Adoration" tour was widely considered as the biggest Christian music concert of the season, not just for the award-winning artists, but especially for the engaging tone of corporate worship that was set on stage each night.
Both of the Australian bands will continue to mutually support their recording projects. The concert will kick-off at Fairfax, VA, just two days after the release of Newsboys' highly anticipated new album, Devotion. St. James, who is originally from Australia as are the Newsboys, will continue supporting her popular Live Worship: Blessed Be Your Name project. The concert will continue to roll along the East Coast and Midwest, wrapping up November 28 in Kansas City, MO.
Acclaimed singer Jeremy Camp, who participated in the spring "Adoration" Tour will miss the November concerts to rest at home with his wife, who is expecting a new child. Todd Agnew will open the concerts with another favorite rock/worship #1 track hit from his debut album, Grace Like Rain.
"Now that Newsboys and I have both released worship albums, there's even more of a kindred spirit between us," St. James says.
