Strongly running for God’s kingdom, multi-talented singer and songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman puts much faith into his upcoming fourteenth album, ALL THINGS NEW, that is due to come out on September 21, 2004. A 65-city tour will begin in October going into April of next year in promotion of this anticipated album. Featured guests will include popular Christian artists Chris Tomlin and Casting Crowns.
Refreshing the world that has become dry, ALL THINGS NEW, proclaims the new hope and faith of God and declares the great mercy and love that allows us to be renewed always. Chapman’s inspirations for this album come from teachings of people on fire for God, including his pastor and talented writers, such as Philip Yancey and John Piper. Through revelations given by God, Chapman shares, “Lately, I’ve come to realize that God will forever be making all things new. He gives us new seasons, a new 24 hours each day, a new sunrise. All of these things continue to remind us that He is the renewer of all things.”
As always, this year is going be one that is full excitement and tight agendas for Chapman, but despite the physical and spiritual demands and hardships, he does not stop in process of doing important works for God. Chapman continues to touch the hearts of many seeking souls with his #1 hits, totaling up to 41 to this date, and has made such great impressions that have led to 47 Dove Awards, four Grammy Awards and an American Music Award. Not staying only within the boundaries of the music world, he participates in and supports numerous charitable works. With this kind of heart, true success is achieved, and with the upcoming ALL THINGS NEW tour, even more amazing miracles of God will happen.
Special guest Chris Tomlin testifies, “I am more than excited to be a part of the upcoming ALL THINGS NEW tour with Steven. I have great confidence it will be a night of amazing music and ministry. I’ve always held Steven in highest regard and I am honored to be invited alongside.”
Casting Crowns, the show-opener band that Chapman co-produced, agreeing, says, “Steven has a great heart and an incredible ministry that we want to learn from.”
ALL THINGS NEW has been put together by the very best musicians; from guitarist Lyle Workman (Sheryl Crow) to bass player Chris Chaney (Alanis Morissette.) Just like his other CDs, there is true quality in the music and the heart of the gospel is embedded within.
