The Ambassador for Christ Inc.(AFC), a mission agency targeted on the Chinese population from China and Asian countries in the United States, will organize a series of Dynamic Discipleship Seminar in September and October at different states.

Many general Christians nowadays experience difficulties in practicing their Christian faith in daily life. While some of them have the great passion to evangelize, they are often lack of resources and practical method. In order to raise these Christians as true disciples, AFC offers this special seminar with the theme on "Life-changing discipleship".

Life-changing discipleship means to guide a new believer by one’s personal life that bears the testimony of a Christian. In addition, through studying the word of God and sharing, the spiritual lives of both the guide and the one who is being guided will grow together.

The very last step is to encourage the new believer to live in the same way and bring in the second generation. The community of Christ can then be easily multiplied and the Kingdom of God expands gradually.

Following the success of the seminars held in many states earlier this year, AFC will host the seminar on Sep. 24 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

"I come to know that the growth of life is more important than the increase of knowledge. The key of discipleship training is life-changing discipleship…" an attendant of the last Dynamic Discipleship Seminar held in Tuscaloosa, AL in April commented.

Two other seminars will also be held at Flushing, NY on Oct. 9 and at Atlanta, GA on Nov. 5.

AFC was founded in June 1963 with the vision to evangelize, disciple and mobilize Chinese students and professionals as a vital force for God's Kingdom in collaboration with the local churches. Now it headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
