ANACEFC Hold National Conference for Pastors and Layleaders to Gain More Resources

The ANACEFC will hold their national conference on Sept 29-Oct 1 with the theme

The Association of North American Chinese Evangelical Free Churches (ANACEFC) will hold their annual conference meeting for pastors and layleaders with the theme "The Lord of All Nations -- His Compassion for the Nations and His Missionaries" on Sept 29-Oct 1.

The conference center will be located at Bethel Prayer Garden in the city of Perris located in Orange Country, Southern California which is expecting to bring in 100 delegates and missionaries from ANACEFC member churches in the U.S.

The Los Angeles Chinese Evangelical Free Church in Monterey Park, CA and the Walnut Evangelical Free Church will be the hosts for this year’s national conference.

Henry T.H. Chou, executive director of ANACEFC said that the "church board tends to meet less often," therefore, he wanted to encourage each church to send their pastoral staff and representatives to the conference.

This year, the conference will bring national leaders from the EFCA (Evangelical Free Church of America) and the EFCC (Evangelical Free Church of Canada) who will teach on international and cross cultural mission by providing resources and training.

Recalling last year's conference, Chou said that the leaders were able to fellowship and form new friendships within the national network of evangelical churches and many "fond memories" came out as a result.

In addition, the ANACEFC's "constitution and by-laws" requires that for every fifty members two delegates must attend the conference and an additional representative for each additional fifty members, but the maximum is five members per church.
