Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update Release Date for Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10: What to Look Out For

It may be weeks before Google launches the Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update, but there are hints circulating the web that may shed light on things users may expect to see.

What is important to know first is that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update will more likely contain bug fixes, and may not contain any major design features. Google may be holding back on new features for the more significantly larger updates - perhaps an Android 4.5 release that has been speculated for this summer. If rumors are to be believed, then that would mean the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will be last of the Android 4.4 KitKat updates.  

Though Google has not publically released a list of fixes, Android Police has compiled a list of potential fixes. The rumored changes address issues including frequent dropped signals, Bluetooth complications, random reboot, camera focus in both HDR and regular mode, and app shortcuts security amongst many other changes.

According to various sources claiming insider knowledge, users may be seeing the Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update available for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10. It is possible that the Galaxy Nexus will not receive the upcoming update, though reasons are speculative at best.

Sprint earlier announced that it would rollout the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for its Nexus 5 from April 14 thru 21. Later on April 24, Sprint delayed the software update, citing "an issue with the software." Users may have to wait patiently, but can take comfort in knowing that Google is possibly holding back the release date to ensure the stability of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update.
