Android upgrades are beginning to occur once every year, and this year's Android version 6.0 (also known as Android M or simply Marshmallow) has been a big question for many Android device manufacturers including Samsung, Sony, Motorola, HTC, and LG.  LG has really been challenging itself to get Android Marshmallow to its users as quickly as possible, and it has been succeeding, for the most part.  This is what is currently known about the Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for LG G4, G3, G4 Stylo, G Flex 2, V10 for subscribers like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, and T-Mobile.   

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the update for LG G4 is "moving along quick", with "multiple regions and even US carriers offering it already".  It has arrived on Sprint and US Cellular in the United States, and now Canada along with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile could be the next target. 

This leads to the question of when the upgrade is coming to the LG G3, which was last year's flagship.  It doesn't look like US Cellular and Sprint, who were ahead of the game when it came to the Android M upgrade, have it now, but it should be arriving soon.  Canadian carrier TELUS has the G4 marked for February 1st, and then the G3 for March 14th, which is a pretty positive message that the Marshmallow rollout really is going strong. 

Other LG devices that are planned to receive the update include the LG G4 Stylo, the LG G Flex 2, and the LG V10, as well as some tablets. 

LG's history with Marshmallow is a pretty strong one.  When Android M began to roll out last October, LG was very quick to say in a press release that its users would be one of the first to have it.  Granted, Google gives out its own operating system to its own devices, so the Nexus series was the first to have it. 

According to Neurogadget, there was a problem with the initial rollout in Poland, but LG corrected that and were able to get Marshmallow to Polish users by New Year's Day, something that is very hard to achieve with a new Android upgrade. 

In summary, LG is ahead of the curve when it comes to the Marshmallow rollout, and other subscribers who are LG G4 can look forward to receiving the upgrade probably within the month, and are encouraged to check their Settings on their Android phone regularly to see if the Over-the-air (OTA) update is available even now.  Those that have the LG G3 or other type of LG smart device should also check their Setting menu as well.
