It seems like the world is gearing up for Android N by the end of the year, but Android M (also known as version 6.0 or Marshmallow) is still coming out.  Android champion Samsung is starting to finish up getting it out on its newer devices, and this is the latest news for Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow and Android N Release Date for Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge +, Note 5, Note 4, and S5 on Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, T-Mobile, and Sprint. 

Well, as for the most recent smartphones, it is pretty much well known that just about all of the five carriers have Android Marshmallow on the models of the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge, and the Galaxy Edge Plus.  This came out shortly before the successful Samsung S7 was introduced, and this year's flagship had Android Marshmallow right out of the packaging. 

Okay, so that's two flagships down, and it doesn't look like the Galaxy S4 or S3 is going to be receiving any upgrade above Android Lollipop.  It should be available on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon, and there is a report on Gotta Be Mobile that even the Galaxy S5 mini will get it as well. 

As for the phablet series of Samsung products like the Galaxy Note 5, there are reports that subscribers like Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, T-Mobile have it, and there is a recent report from Tech Times saying that AT&T has it as well.  So the most recent flagship is covered, but the Note 6 (or possibly even the Note 7) is about to be revealed soon, and probably won't have Android N aboard. 

As for last year's phablet of the Note 4, reports are similar to that of the Note Edge.  The upgrade has shown up on Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Verizon, and now T-Mobile, according to Android Central.    

As for other Samsung devices, there are reports about the Galaxy Tab S2, and there is also the Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A9, Galaxy J3, and Galaxy Alpha.  When it comes to Android N, it was no surprise when it was announced at the Google I/O Developer Conference, but it is surprising that it the new operating system is now available as a public beta version. 

PC Advisor states that Android N could be available in September and come straight to 2016 Nexus phones.  As for when it will comes to Samsung, there is much speculated that Android N will officially roll out onto Samsung devices at the first quarter of 2017.  This is just following the pattern of the release of Android M. 

If you own a "newer" Samsung devices are encouraged to check your "Settings" and "System Updates" to see if Marshmallow is ready to download.  This upgrade might not be ready depending on your U.S. carrier, as it has been shown that certain carriers receive the Android upgrade before others, with no real pattern.
