It is an interesting year for the current version of Android with version 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow), especially when it came to LG.  At first, there was a test going on at the end of last year, but then there was a problem.  It must have been overcome, as LG was one of the first to receive it, at least after Google's own Nexus devices.  This is the latest news on Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow and Android N Release Dates for LG G5, G4, G3, G2, G Stylo, and V10 on Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, and AT&T. 

With LG G5, the current flagship phone, arriving out of the packaging complete with Android M on board, it is only a matter of the trickle-down effect goes to all the LG phones that are going to get it.  LG G4 users are pleased to have it as all five major carriers have rolled it out. 

This goes for the LG G3, which is still pretty popular.  It sounds like this particular smartphone had its Android M downloads taken care of as of last April.  Will there be anything for the LG G2? 

Then there is the case for the also popular LG V10, in both the International edition as well as the United States versions for Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T.  It should be going out to US Cellular and AT&T, assuming that it hasn't come already. 

One thing that isn't so certain is the LG G Flex 2, but it is believed that it will be receiving the Android upgrade, because why not.  It is after all, a relatively new Android device for LG. 

So, as far as when Android N is coming for LG, Know Your Mobile stated that the company is great at getting out its updates.  This was certainly true as we have already said earlier, and since the first Android update landed on the LG G4 around December 2015, it is probably safe to say that the Android N update will be coming to the current flagship phone LG G5 sometime in December as well. 

The best advice one can give is if you have a newer LG Android device, it would be worth your while to check the "Settings" menu along with the "System Update" to see if the upgrade is available.  It looks like things are progressing very well for LG, and it shouldn't take long before all of the newer devices have Android M on all carriers, assuming that it isn't already.
