So, now that Android N was at least announced, it makes Android users wonder when that will be coming to their devices.  Even some of the newer Android devices don't have version 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow) but this is the latest news about Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow and Android N Release Date for Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge +, Note 5, Note 4, and S5 on Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular, and Sprint. 

So, we might as well talk about Samsung devices that already have the Android Marshmallow opening.  The current flagship of the Samsung Galaxy S7 comes with Android M right out of the packaging, which is always good.  Fortunately, that particular smartphone has just been released.  As for last year's models, the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge, and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, it has the version 6.0 upgrade on about all carries. 

As for the phablet Note 5, there are reports that those subscribers from Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and T-Mobile have it, with AT&T running a beta update and will apparently start rolling out soon.  I'm not certain why that carrier and US Cellular has no news.  The Note 4 has its update for Sprint and U.S. Cellular.  This goes for Verizon as well, according to Gotta Be Mobile, and the Galaxy Note Edge. 

So, what about the Galaxy S5?  It has shown up on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.  It is probably not going to go any lower than that.  As for other Samsung devices, there are reports about the Galaxy Tab S2, and there is also the Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A9, Galaxy J3, and Galaxy Alpha.  In fact, Techno Buffalo talks about how the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 receives Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. 

Speaking of upgrades, when it comes to Android N, it was no surprise when it was announced at the Google I/O Developer Conference, but it is surprising that it the new operating system is now available as a public beta version.  PC Advisor states that Android N could be available in September and come straight to 2016 Nexus phones. 

As for when it will come to Samsung, there is much speculated that Android N will officially roll out onto Samsung devices at the first quarter of 2017.  This is just following the pattern of the release of Android M. 

If you own a "newer" Samsung devices are encouraged to check your "Settings" and "System Updates" to see if Marshmallow is ready to download.  This upgrade might not be ready depending on your U.S. carrier, as it has been shown that certain carriers receive the Android upgrade before others, with no real pattern.
