LG is just one maker of devices that is still awaiting its Android upgrade to Android 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow).  The issue is that Google unveiled its latest version about a few months ago, and the company is working hard to make sure that their business gets it first after Google's Nexus series has received a big helping of it.  In addition to the news and rumors of the Android Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for LG G4, G3, G4 Stylo, G Flex 2, V10 for United States carriers like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, and T-Mobile, there is also some news and rumors concerning the latest LG smartphone, the G5, coming to Mobile World Congress in 2016.

Besides the Nexus series, LG is one company that is attempting to bring the power of Android Marshmallow to their users.  Gotta Be Mobile reports that it has arrived in Poland in October, which was about two weeks after Google initially rolled it out.  This means that it is probably going to arrive at the LG G4, the company's current flagship, quite soon. 

Other LG devices that are planned to receive the update include the LG G3, the LG G4 Stylo, the LG G Flex 2, and the LG V10, as well as some tablets.  It is unknown if the LG K7 and LG K10, just announced at CES 2016, will be receiving the Marshmallow update. 

Of course, the actual release date can vary depending on the customer's carrier, such as Verizon, US Cellular, Sprint, T-Mobile, or AT&T.  For example, Sprint customers are reported to have received Android 6.0 by the middle of December.  This probably means that much of the other aforementioned carriers should be rolling out soon, possibly in Q1.

As for the timing, it will, of course, come to the G4 first, and it is estimated that G3 could be receiving the Android M update in 2-3 weeks.  Tech Radar reports that the LG G3 hasn't even received an upgrade to Android 5.1, and it could just get an update straight to 6.0.  There are even rumors that the LG G2 could even receive the update, which seems highly unusual considering the phone is over three years old. 

Speaking of things to come from LG, Android Authority has reported that the Korean company has sent out some invitations to an event within the significant event of Mobile World Congress (MWC) on February 21, 2016.  This is expected to be the unveiling of the new flagship phone, the LG G5, which really should come with Android Marshmallow right out of the box in addition to this year's features.
