Now that the latest version of Android, version 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow) has been out for a few months, it really should be on some of the newer version of Android by now.  Fortunately, for HTC, this has happened, at least for the HTC One M9.  This is the current news about the Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for HTC One M9, M8, and Desire Series for T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

There really hasn't been much news as far as upgrades for HTC is concerned, but the big news happened last week.  At that time, HTC was able to completely get Android M on the One M9 on Verizon and T-Mobile, but AT&T has been reported to have some technical issues, so it could be a while before the upgrade arrives for those subscribers.  This is not only available in all parts of the United States, but the upgrade is spreading in Canada as well.

Now that the HTC One M9 is (for the most part) taken care of, this leads to the question of other HTC devices like the HTC One M8, not to mention the HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 826, HTC One M9+, HTC One E8, HTC One M8 EYE, HTC One ME and HTC One E9.

According to Neurogadget, a lot of HTC fans believe that HTC owners should be receiving the upgrade "in the next days".  The soonest to receive the upgrade will most like be last year's HTC One M8, which Tech Radar reports being available in the UK soon.

One thing that is good about HTC is their commitment to bring the latest version of Android to their users.  The company has a 90-day target date for their newest devices, so if you have any device that is under 2 years old, it will receive the latest version.  There are times where it doesn't make its target date, and it is recommended that every HTC user know Mo Versi on Twitter.  Mo is the VP of Product Management on HTC, so he often has the latest news on when the Android upgrade will arrive.

In the meantime, HTC was able to announce three new smartphones a Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.  This annual event held in Barcelona, Spain, is wrapping up today, with the HTC Desire 350, Desire 630, and Desire 825 arriving at retailers next month.  These will have Marshmallow out of the box.

Also coming is the HTC One M10.  Considering that the One M9 launched around this time, it only stands to reason that the M10 would be available soon.  So far, very little is known about the device, but a recent press leak has revealed the #Powerof10 along with "Stay Tuned".
