Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Android M) is now slowly rolling out to other devices after Nexus phones received it October last year. Online reports said Motorola is pretty determined to bring Android version 6.0 to their subscribers, so expect the updates very soon. Now, here's what we know so far about Android M release date for Motorola devices.

For users of Moto X Pure, Moto G, Moto E, Moto X Style, Droid Turbo 2 and BlackBerry Priv, expect the Android 6.0 or 6.0.1 shortly, according to Neurogadget. The same source also said that the phone manufacturer is currently upgrading their devices to the latest operating system.

Moto X and Moto X Style owners from Brazil and India received Android M on AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular last December. There are also reports that Moto X, 2014 Moto X, and Moto G users from India and Australia got their new operating system.

The other devices that are set to receive Android M are the Moto X 2nd Gen (2014), the Moto X Pure Edition (2015), the Moto X Play, the Moto X Force, and the Moto X Style. Also, Android M is expected to land on the Motorola G series that includes the Moto G Turbo, 2014 editions of the Moto G and Moto G 4G, as well as the Moto G 3rd Generation from 2015.

The next device that will receive the new operating system is the Droid Turbo 2. Gadget users that bought their devices from Verizon will have Android M very soon. International Business Times published that Verizon employees already have the update on their Droid Turbo 2 Employee Edition.

With these developments, it is clear that Motorola Company really wants to give the newest version of Android to their subscribers. The company also encourages their customers to "stay tuned for more details on upgrades for specific devices." Users can check their devices to see if the upgrade is already available for them.

Aside from Motorola devices, Sony Xperia gadgets will also have the Marshmallow. These Xperia gadgets are Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z4, Xperia Z3+, Xperia C5 Ultra, as per reports from Morning News USA.

The latest Android Marshmallow lets users move from the frustrating and bug-filled Android Lollipop. This new software features updated security enhancements, improved user interface and bug fixes.
