HTC is pretty good about getting the upgrade of Android version 6.0 (also known as Android M and Marshmallow).  So far, it has shown up for the HTC flagship devices, and this is the latest news about Android M 6.0 Marshmallow and Android N Release Date for HTC One M9, One M8, and HTC Desire Series on Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and AT&T. 

I might as well begin and get this out of the way, that about all of HTC's flagship phones from the past three years are covered.  I am referring to any phone after the HTC One M7, as the HTC One M8 and the HTC One M9 have received their upgrade, and pretty much covered by all carriers.  As for the latest flagship with the simply named HTC 10, it comes with Android M.  By the way, I am expecting to receive the HTC 10 soon, so we will hopefully have a review of that new flagship when we cover this next week. 

Even though the whole flagship family of HTC is pretty much covered, there just has been hardly any word this week about the Android upgrade to other HTC products.  A while ago, there was a list of HTC devices that would be receiving the upgrade would be as follows: 

• HTC One M9+
• HTC One E9+
• HTC One E9
• HTC One ME
• HTC One E8
• HTC One M8 EYE
• HTC Butterfly 3
• HTC Desire 826
• HTC Desire 820
• HTC Desire 816

We know for sure that there was a report on Android Authority that the Desire Eye, Desire 816, M8 Eye, and Desire 820 is starting to come out in the International versions, but this is old news.  There was also a separate report confirming that Android 6.0.1 has come to HTC Desire 820, and the same applies to the other three non-flagship phones. 

Then there was a recent report from Morning News USA, and Sprint and HTC are now ready to update to HTC Desire 626.  It is not really known when those non-flagship phones are going to get this upgrade, as seen with a forum on GSMArena. 

As for Android N, it won't be coming to HTC devices for quite a while, and it will probably come to the newest HTC devices first which include the HTC One A9, HTC One M9, and HTC 10.  As for the when, the latest Nexus devices will be the first to receive it, of course, but HTC will probably be getting until early 2017. 

It is possible that the upgrade could be available on your newer HTC device already, but one carrier for the same phone and yet not on another, which has become a pattern for Android rollouts.  If you have a recent HTC device, you might already have access to Marshmallow already, especially if you have a flagship.  Just go to "Settings" and "System Update" to see if you can download the Over the Air (OTA) upgrade now.
