It has been almost five months since Android version 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow) has begun to rollout.  Most of the flagship devices from Samsung, HTC, LG, and even Sony has received it, but it gets pretty complicated when it comes to Motorola's Moto series of devices.  Considering that a number of Android devices that Motorola has out on the market, as well as their carriers, it makes it very easy to actually narrow down which ones do or do not have the Android upgrade available.  Although some reports might be contrasting each other, this is the latest news about Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for Motorola Moto X, G, E-Series for US Cellular, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. 

According to Moto G, most of the Moto devices will get Android Marshmallow, and as of this month, almost all of the Motorola devices have received their Android Marshmallow update.  In fact, a recent report on Tech Radar concerning the Android upgrade for Motorola stated that the Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Moto G 2015, Moto G 2014, Moto E (2nd gen), Moto X 2014, and Moto X Pure Edition (2015) "is updating". 

This means that if you have one of these devices, you should be able to go to the "Settings" menu and click on "System Update" in order to get it.  Keep in mind that when you get this update could depend on your carrier, so it might differ depending on which one that you are with (Verizon, US Cellular, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint). 

This same report previously mention from Tech Radar stated that the Android Marshmallow upgrade will also come to the 2014 version of the Moto X Pure Edition, the 2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE, the Moto MAXX, Moto Turbo, Droid Turbo, and the Nexus 6.  

As far as these models go, this is the news from Android Pit.  David Schuster of Motorola announced via Google+ that the Moto X (2014) and the Moto X Pure Edition are beginning to see Marshmallow rolled out in countries like Brazil and India.  With this in mind, it should take long before it rolls out worldwide, assuming that it hasn't already.    This goes for the other models, and we reported last week that the Turbo 2 is starting to receive the upgrade. 

Those who have the 2015 version of the Moto E will notice that it isn't going to receive the Android M upgrade, but that is only partially true.  The Marshmallow upgrade will in fact arrive on Snapdragon 410 powered versions in Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, excluding China.  There will not be an update in the United States for the Moto E, in spite of promises Motorola had made about having the latest version of Android in the past.
