For those of you unfamiliar with the process of jailbreaking, it is a way of removing the restrictions of iOS (the closed source operating system on Apple devices) on their mobiles such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. There had been a recent V1.0.0 tool released by TaiG, and here is a iOS 8.1.3-8.4 Jailbreak Update with Steps for How to Install.

A recent report from the International Business Times has revealed that TaiG has finally released V1.0.0 Mac jailbreak tool, which supports untethered jailbreak on all devices running on iOS 8.1.3 to iOS 8.4. In fact, you should be able to go to the TaiG site right now, and download this version for the Mac, and V1.1.0 also fixes the blank screen on OS X 10.9.

A separate article from IBT describes the process of installing the TaiG jailbreak 1.1.0 for Mac on your iOS devices powered by the iOS operating system 8.1.3.-8.4. Please note that the user takes his or her own risks when trying this. This is a guide for if you have a Mac, but there are Windows compatible versions available.

Since the TaiG jailbreak V1.1.0 supports iOS 8.1.3 all the way up to iOS 8.4, there is no reason why you shouldn't update your iOS device to iOS 8.4 if you haven't already. You should also have at least 80 percent power in your battery before attempting the jailbreak.

You should really create a backup using iCloud or iTunes before your even start the jailbreak process, as this might wipe out all the data of your iOS device. Should you receive a warning of "Storage Almost Full", then you should run Cydia. Also, if the jailbreak process fails, try turning off the Wi-Fi and starting again. If this does not work, then use TaiG Pro to restore and attempt the jailbreak once more.

Start by downloading the TaiG tool V1.1.0 for Mac, located here. Connect the iOS device to your PC using the USB cable. Go to Settings, click on Passcode, enter your Passcode, turn the Passcode off, then enter your Passcode. Turn off the Find My iPhone from the Settings menu, click iCloud, and Find My iPhone.

Launch the TaiG jailbreak application as an Administrator while the iOS device is connected to your PC by right clicking on the TaiG exe and selecting "Run As Administrator" from the menu. TaiG will then detect your iOS device, but this might take some time. It will eventually display the device and iOS firmware version. From there, uncheck 3K Assistant 2.3.0, which can be seen below Cydia 1.1.16. As soon as it shows the correct firmware version, deselect the TaiG App Store, which can be found below Cydia 1.1.16.

Go ahead and click on that Start button for jailbreaking, and wait for it to complete. There will be a circular process bar. Once the jailbreaking is complete, the iOS device should reboot automatically, with a message reading that the jailbreak is successful. You should also see a Cydia icon on your iOS device's homescreen. You can now re-enable the Passcode and Find My iPhone features.

If everything has gone right, then your iOS device will enjoy the pleasures and privileges that come with jailbreaking. At least until upgrades to iOS 8.4 happen to your device.
