Apple iPad Air 3, iPhone 5se Release Date Rumors Point To March 21 Event

Apple reportedly gearing up to launch iPad Air 3 and iPhone 5se this year. We've gathered all of the reliable information on the web so you'll know when the iPad Air 3 is coming out and what iPhone 5se is going to be like. Here's the latest round up of update about iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3 release date, specs and rumors.

Let's start with the 4.0-inch iPhone 5se, also referred to as iPhone 6c. International Business Times suggests the device will be launched at an Apple event on March 21.  On the same day, the Cupertino-based company is expected to release the much-anticipated iPad Air 3. Some announcements about current-generation Apple Watch will also be presented on the special event.

As for the iPhone 5se price, today's reports suggest the mini handset will be available around $450 for the 16 GB storage variant.

Furthermore, the upcoming 4.0-inch iPhone is believed to have same processor and chipset of the iPhone 6S -- the A9 chip. This processor will be coupled with 1GB of RAM DDR3. For internal storage feature, it's safe to assume the phone will be available with a minimum of 16GB model and hefty 64GB model.

Gadget lovers hope to see 8Mp rear-facing and 1.2Mp front facing cameras on iPhone 5se. These camera features is tipped to be compatible with Apple's Live Photos feature.

The same source from IB Times reported the smaller iPhone variant will have Touch ID finger print sensor, which has support for Apple Pay and VoLTE.  Moreover, the device will be released in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, and Space Gray color options.

Now, let's check out the iPad Air 3 rumors. As we said earlier, the tablet is tipped to release in March 21.  There's a possibility that the gadget will cost around the same as the iPad Air 2 does now.  So, iPad Air 3 price will be around $599 for the WiFi-only 16GB model, ranging up to $950 for the WiFi + Cellular option with 128GB capacity, as per reports from PC Advisor.

Bloomberg published Apple will release iPad Air 3 with super-powerful A9X chip (as seen in the iPad Pro). This latest chipset will help the device to perform multiple tasks and avoid lags and delays. The next-generation Air could also sport a screen with 2732x2048 display resolution.

As always, readers are advised to take the reported iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3 specifications, price and release date with the proverbial pinch of salt as the Apple has not confirmed or denied any information thus far.
