Arrow Season 4 premiere date is definitely coming this fall, even though CW network has yet to confirm details. In the meantime, cast and spoilers rumor continue to circulate on the web. In the sections below, we will look at the latest gossip so far.

Diggle in Costume

Last month, actor David Ramsey confirmed that his character Diggles will get a new look in Arrow Season 4.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, the actor said that he will be getting armor and mask to wear in the upcoming season. However, Ramsey did not say whether he was getting an all new superhero identity.

Diggles has been an integral part of Team Arrow since the beginning, when he started out as driver and bodyguard to main protagonist Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). It was later revealed that Diggles is a former government operative. He occasionally goes on missions - albeit, reluctantly - for shadowing agency ARGUS.

Sara Lance is White Canary

CW has a habit of reiterating the established Arrow universe, which may or may not sit well with longtime Green Arrow fans. This time Sara Lance is coming back to the series as White Canary, who will be part of Team Arrow. It will be interesting to see how this new dynamic will play out when Season Four begins.

In the original comic-book that inspired the TV show, White Canary is actually a villainess who is the arch-nemesis to Black Canary.

Roy and Thea Reunion - Really?

One rumor suggests that Roy and Thea will reunite, contrary to what has already been established in Season 3.

Roy, who is running from the law, leaves Thea behind so that she can live a better life. Before doing so, he leaves behind his Red Arrow disguise for her to use. This implies that the character is going away for good - or is he?

Inquistr recently reported that the cast of Arrow were aware of the Thea-Roy reunion speculation. The actors apparently told viewers that they can help make this possible.

It is still possible for CW to bring back characters that were essentially written off. For instance, Sara Lance returned to Starling City even after her Black Canary identity was inherited by her sister Laurel.

When is the Release Date? October Date Likely

According to Den of Geeks, one way to predict the premiere date is to look at previous season release cycles. For instance, Arrow has debuted on the first Wednesday of October for three consecutive seasons. Theoretically, Arrow Season 4 should premiere on Wednesday, October 7th.

At this time, it does not seem likely that the network will deviate from previous release cycles. Naturally, this does not rule out the possibility that CW may follow a different schedule for this year. Fans will have to hope that this does not happen.

Possible Main Villain, Damien Darhk

So far, this mysterious character has only been mentioned by name. In the episode Al Sah-him, Ra's tells Oliver that Damien leads a "hive of followers" who has defected from the League of Assassins.

In the Arrow TV show, Darhk was once Ra's al Ghul's loyal companion. Their friendship soured after Ra's was chosen to lead the Assassins. Damien apparently felt he was more worthy of the position. Ra's hesitated in killing his friend. This leads to Darhk escaping and forming a rival organization modeled on the League.

Naturally, the main villain's identity will only be confirmed in Season 4.
