"Everyday, thousands of Christians are persecuted because they have taken a stand for Jesus," Christian Solidarity Worldwide Hong Kong (CSWHK) posted on their website, but "we can serve as 'One Body, One Voice' for the voiceless in Asia."

CSWHK will hold their 6th annual Hong Kong Christian Human Rights Conference on Nov 5 at St. Andrew's Church and Nov 6 at New Life Temple.

In "One Body, One Voice," this conference will draw testimonies from missionaries who stood firm through persecution and showed their faith in Christ by serving Vietnam, Laos and Burma.

Groups of people continue to be arrested and persecuted because of their participation in "unregistered" church activities or because of their religious beliefs.

However, participants of the conference learned that churches don't respond negatively to persecution, but "with love and faith," Jeff Brice said according to the Sunday Examiner.

Similarly, a house church leader made a statement that caught the attention of LifeWay President James T. Draper. He quoted the church leader saying "Stop Praying for persecution in China to end, for it is through persecution that the church has grown."

At last year's conference, a board member posed the questions "Where do we go from here? What should we do?" and "How can I relate with them," Daniel Villa continued on and said it is not by our own power, but by the power of the Spirit, Sunday Examiner reported.

"The churches are growing…the kingdom is advancing and we need to gather our forces through love and obedience to God's will," Villa said to the Sunday Examiner.

According to the State Department, Vietnam and Burma are blacklisted as "countries of particular concern," under the International Religious Freedom Act. Meanwhile on the Open Door's World Watch List 2005, for the top fifty persecuted churches, Laos was named fourth.

CSWHK is part of a worldwide network of interdenominational Christian human rights and humanitarian aid organizations that focuses on the persecuted churches in the world.

"Advocacy is the heartbeat of our ministry, based on God's command for us to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves ... defend the rights of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9)," CSWHK posted.
